Warren Park Youth Baseball Mission
The objective of WARREN PARK YOUTH BASEBALL is to provide a recreational
program of competitive baseball for the youth in our community which will instill the highest ideals of
good sportsmanship, honesty, courage and discipline for the overall betterment of the youth, as a
contribution toward improving their development into better citizens.
Team Managers and Coaches
In all competition within the league and against teams outside the League, the primary
responsibility of Team Managers and Coaches is to instruct and set a high personal example of
sportsmanship, honesty and integrity.
Parents and WPYB Spectators
The games will get exciting and please cheer for your kids. Remember to cheer for all the players on your team and not just your own kids. Please show respect by not cheering wildly when the players on the opposing team strike out or make poor fielding mistakes. Applaud success and effort and not someone else's failure. Have a great summer.
Players
Always support your teammates and cheer for them. Display good sportsmanship and respect your opponent's effort. Shake hands after the game and show respect for your opponent with a hand shake and saying "good game".

Thillens Games:
Please check your schedules carefully over the next few weeks, as many teams will have at least one game at Thillens Stadium.
Thillens games are great fun for fans and players alike. WPYB pays for the use of the stadium, and admission fees cover the costs, and serve as a fund-raiser for our program. Please invite your friends and family to join us at Thillens for good fun and great baseball!
Admission is $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for children.
(Coaches and players are free, of course!)
Being on time for games is important! We need to stick to the schedule in order for everyone to have the opportunity to get in a quality game.
We will also be selling the fabulous Warren Park Youth Baseball t-shirts that first made their appearance on Picture Day. Be sure to pick one up and show your support for WPYB!
Volunteer at Thillens:
Can you help us? Parent volunteers are needed to collect admission fees at the gate. The more volunteers we have, the better it will be for everyone. Please contact your coach, or send an e-mail to gamescores@live.com if you are able to help out.
