Warren Park Youth Baseball Sponsorship Form
Warren Park Youth Baseball serves boys and girls ages
4 to 18 from a broad ethnic and socio-economic
base on the north side of Chicago.
We provide safe, organized, and instructional
baseball to approximately 420 children and young adults
annually, and have been doing so since 1981.
While every participant pays
a registration fee to the program, these fees are not sufficient to cover the
cost of
uniforms, equipment, awards, and the banquet. We rely on team sponsors and
general sponsors
like
yourself to bridge this gap.
Your help has made our
program successful since 1981!
Our league is comprised of several divisions: Tee
Ball serves 4, 5 ,and 6 year olds; Coach-pitch serves
7 and 8 year olds; Rookie serves 9 and 10 year olds;
Minor serves 11 and 12 year olds; and Major serves
13 to 15 year olds, and AA
serves 16 to 18 year olds.
Games
are played evenings and weekends from May through July at Warren Park, while
our AA Division
also plays at Rogers and Pottawattami
Parks. Several nights each year, the League moves to Thillens
Stadium to play in their quaint and famous ballpark.
All coaches, volunteers, and board members serve
without pay or expense reimbursement.
Our 13 and 14 year olds are trained
to be umpires and take on the responsibility of officiating the coach-pitch
and rookie leagues.
At our end of year banquet, held at Warren Park, each
child receives individual recognition and a trophy for
his or her participation. We also honor
several players each year from our Rookie, Minor, and Major Leagues
with our “Cy Young” and Most Valuable Player Awards..
In consideration of your
generous team sponsorship, we provide to you:

A bronze
and walnut plaque displaying a color photograph of
the team, for display at your home or workplace

A
trophy if your team wins a league or tournament championship
·
Your
logo on the team’s jerseys (you provide the artwork)
·
A full page ad in the awards banquet program.

League team (9-10 players, ages 4,5, and 6) $500.00
Additional
sponsorships are available
as follows, and each receives special recognition on our website, in
the Awards Banquet program, and at the Awards
Banquet, which is usually attended by 500 or more players and parents.
Double-play Sponsor (one team in each
of two leagues) $900.00
Triple-play Sponsor (one team in each of three leagues) $1300.00
Grand
Slam Sponsor (one team in each of four leagues) $1700.00
World Series Sponsor (one team in each of five leagues) $2100.00
All donations are by check and payable to Warren
Park Youth Baseball. A letter of receipt is provided for your
records. Warren Park Youth Baseball is a
not-for-profit corporation organized exclusively for charitable purposes
within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the
Internal Revenue Code.
