Important League Update: All Activities Suspended Until May 11

Dear Warren Park Youth Baseball Little League Families,

Little League International has updated their recommendation regarding the suspension of activities, which now extends through at least May 11. All WPYBLL and All Stars activities remain temporarily suspended until further notice and our Coaches Meeting/Town Hall has been postponed indefinitely.

As shared in our earlier email, we are committed to providing our players with a baseball season once the suspension is lifted and we can ensure a safe experience. The resulting season may be shorter or extend later into the summer than planned. And, we are working with the Chicago Park District on contingency plans should the season become extensively delayed.

In the meantime, we ask that you please give all of our generous and loyal sponsors your support and consideration when possible. Candlelite, one of our premier sponsors (with the best thin-crust pizza in the city!), remains open for take out and delivery service, along with their sister restaurant and fellow sponsor, Firehouse in Evanston.

We will continue to communicate updates as they become available to us. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions.
